there's the question. as a kid, I did, but as we all got older my sibs lost interest and my mom stopped saving her yearly humongous bag of pennies for us to play with.
so how many of you still play, and with what? (pennies, almonds, bobbie pins?)

I can't remember the last time I played. But I guess if we had children old enough then we would be playing.

Every year, what I play with depends on who I play with. Had an interesting game once with DH.

I play every year. Depends where we are, who we are with etc. This year I was thinking of bringing along a bag of chocolate chips to my in-laws house. Can't get chocolate chips here so my SILs should be pretty excited about that....

We do, at least once a year - the kids and I. We use pretzels, usually - it's lots of fun!

I know this is an old thread, but since I was going ask what you play dreidel with I figured I could bump this one up. I'm on a roll with bumping up threads . I always play with my kids and we play with beans.

What a waste of using the chocolate chips . When I get something you cant get here, I don't like to share .

We have a building toy with small pieces that we use for dreidel gelt. They get put away with the dreidels and chanukiot. We played tonight. It is a good way to keep the kids happy near the menorot.

Well dh sat on the floor with a dreidel to play with ds. He started spinning it and ds invented a game where as soon as it starts spinning he stamps on it and if flies across the room!
He enjoyed it

The kids played for hours at our chanukah party tonight.
We also played chanukah bingo using pennies as bingo pieces.
And I usually play dreidel with the kids at least once on chanukah.
