My list would probably be as long as CMs! I use that cookbook at least 3 times a week.

I just made the classic choc cake for ds's bday and dh said it was the best choc cake he's had. I prefer the chocolate chiffon cake (which is why I made the other one - so I wouldn't eat too much LOL )

I also make a lot:

macaroni and cheese
a really easy meat roast recipe (wine and tomato sauce)
shepherds pie
sweet potatoe and squash pie
creamy broccoli kugel
iranian stew

plus lots of others

we eat b'datz hareidi anyway, and THOSE bagels are very expensive.

Sorry Mimi, didn't see this. These bagels are eidah chareidis. The store is in geulah and they are very good.

The juicy hamburgers from S and S are YUM!

I'd be interested in seeing a revised list with those things that you go back to again and again.

Only on Imamother can people fight over recipe questions.

I'm like CM. I would have a hard time narrowing down my favorite recipes. I cook a wide variety of things, so my favorites list (from any and all cookbooks) would be really long.

Variety is the spice of life for some of us.

The chicken pot pie is really great. sometimes I make mini ones for individual servings. It sort of controls how much we eat of it. LOL

I have a question with the chicken pot pie. I have the cookbook and it says that it only has a top crust. isnt it supposed to have a bottom one too? otherwise how will it come out of the pan?

It doesnt have a bottom crust, a bottom crust would get mushy. Its perfect this way.
