Sellign a gift certificate for an $800 cut, by Yaffa, This cannot be used towards the purchase of a wig, only towards a cut by the one and only Yaffa. It must be a wig purchased at Yaffa’s too.

I was going to use it and found a nice wig in my color by Shevy’s.

Maybe you get very good follow up for that price. Maybe it includes other services as well.

For example, Genia charged me only $30 to work on the bangs and side of a wig a few years ago, whereas a full cut costs more.

Why are you getting angry with the sheitel machers who charge insane prices for cuts? DON'T GO TO THEM. NOONE IS FORCING YOU. I don't get it - sorry. I agree that the $800 is insane, but I would also not be stupid enough to pay it!!! I've commented similarly on another thread a while back. When you see a designer skirt for $5,000 do you want to put all the designers in cherem?? Just don't buy the designer skirts - there are plenty that are more affordable. They charge the insane prices because people are stupid enough to pay it! Everything has a price tag - some we are willing and/or able to pay for, some we are not. There are houses up for sale for millions of dollars and houses up for sale for thousands of dollars (okay many thousands!). You buy what you can afford - you don't freak out about the owners wanting insane money - you just move right along to your own price bracket. Sorry for the vent - and truth be told, I can't say I never gripe about the rising cost of everything, but I do give myself the same lecture!

I am really not sure where you came up with this idea that she charges $800 for a single cut. I have beautiful Yaffa wigs which she cut for me and her price is $400 - since I bought the wig from her she worked out a much better deal no place near $800.
