Looking for a recipe for "knish kugul". It's basically a kugul made of mashed potatoes mixed with other ingredients, but without a crust. Can anyone help?

I have something that sounds like what you're looking for. It's called Potato Nick.
8Potatos
2 large onions
3/4 c oil
4 eggs
2c flour
2oz.Margarine (1/2stick)
1 tbsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
cook potatos, mash and set aside
sautee onions in oil
mix: eggs, flour, marg.,salt, pepper, onions and add to potatos
Put in 9X13 pan brush with some egg and sprinkle sesame ontop.
bake 1hr. 350
it's yum!
(I've made this milchig once using butter instead of marg. delicious!)

crayon, thank you!! would a half a recipe work just as well?
also, how would you reheat it once it's frozen - do I defrost it first, and then heat, or do I just stick it in the oven to defronst and heat at the same time?
motherof2, your recipe looks like basically a half of crayons. thanks!

Recipe can be halved, and defrost before heating. Enjoy!

My MIL makes a very similar recipe for Pesach. I don't know what she replaces the flour with - but it tastes really good.
8 potatoes - peel, cook, and mash
4 onions - dice and sautee
mix potatoes and onions.
Add:
1/2 cup oil
4 eggs
2 1/2 cups flour
6 oz. margarine
1 Tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
mix.
Pour in 9x13 pan.
Paint the top with an egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake at 375 for 1 hour.
