Ues one medium sized mixing bowl and a large loaf pan for baking.
First layer

1/8 cup water
1/2 cup flour
Mix in your med size mixing bowl, and then pat into your baking pan.
2nd layer
1/2 cup water
1/2 stick melted marg
2 eggs
1/2 tsp almond extract
In same bowl, mix and then pour over the dough already in pan. Bake in your loaf pan at 350 until golden brown, about 45 minutes.
After your pan comes out of the oven, spread with the jam and sprinkle with your nuts. Drizzle the icing on top.
Topping
jam, aboaut 1/2 cup - any flavor you like, but apricot and strawberry are recommended
1/2 cup slivered nuts, toasted if possible
Icing
1/4 cup confectioner's sugar
