Jackie Mason DVD's (stand up comedy) are very funny, and I love Lucy's are absolutely hysterical

Knocked up came hightly recommended. We finally got our hands on a copy, and when teh kids were sleeping we sat down to watch it, all psyched for a great night of laughs. It was so pathetic, so stupid, and so not funny that we couldn't even believe it was classified as a comedy. It has been a really long time since I have seen a trully laugh out loud movie. Seinfeld reruns get my best laughs.

I too was disappointed in Knocked Up. Liked: Something about Mary, My Cousin Vinny, Mrs. Doubtfire, Friends.

A gf of mine told me a story about how she was walking through a mall in Columbus, Ohio and saw Jackie Mason when she was walking past and she said out loud, "Jackie Mason?"

He turned around, surprised, and said, "Why, yes. But nobody as young as you ever recognizes me."

Her reply, "Oh. My dad LOVES you."

mrs doubtfire is quite fun. I own it but haven't seen it for maybe five years... I seem to remembers scenes in a swimming pool, so your dh may want to look away. But the rest I think is very clean. So it's worth it, not like he'll miss half of the story. Honestly I think with American Pie (I think I've seen one, there are two, right? or three?) it's many scenes that he can't watch?

This isn't a ha ha funny movie, but we saw "Waitress" the other night and it was totally sweet, and had some very cute moments.

(tsnius warning: contains scenes of passionate kissing and a theme of infidelity)

(dieters' warning: contains lots of scenes of pie)

Big Mama's house & Big Mama's House 2 were awesome!

Also Blades of Glory (Will Ferrell) was sooooo funny! I loved it!

You can read reviews and watch clips from them on blockbuster.com

The 40 year-old Virgin is HILARIOUS! I was cracking up the entire time.

(note: rated R, not exactly very kosher.)
