I have wondered about this for a while now.
Does PCOS cause someone to be overweight or does one letting themselve become overweight bring out PCOS.
ANy thoughts?

I think both. Pcos allows you to synthesize sugar differently, and gaining weight, or being overweight causes other side effects.

I think being overweight makes the symptoms worse, but having PCOS makes you more likely to gain weight. I had PCOS from when I was 12 and skinny and now I am overweight - the only one in my skinny family

I also have PCOS. and I am having a hard time losing weight now. are you on a pill to regulate it, I think that also has to do with gaining weight. what about extra hair growth do you have that? I am looking for support in this area...
