So I go for REALLLLLLY EASY...I made this recipe (not much of a recipe ) up this past Friday cuz I wanted to get rid of puffed pastry dough in the freezer before Pesach.
Thaw puffed pastry dough, mix instant mashed potato flakes w/boiling water and fried onions and spices, cut ppd into large squares and put mashed potatos inside, close and turn over, (egg if want shiny), bake on whatever temp. till whenever you think it's ready.
ENJOY!!

do potato flakes taste just like real potatoes?

Not easy to go to store if dh has the car
Their not quite as good but almost!!! (It beats the whole cooking potato process...)
