6 shekels an hour??? 
OK, for one, I know where I'm moving to if I have to put 2 little kids in daycare!
Second thought: The language barrier was that bad  ? How hard is it to say/understand "Ze lo maspik?"
How are you going to explain to her "don't come back unless you plan on paying a whole lot more"? Or do you think it was a one-time thing?

Well I stoof my ground. She wanted me to come and pick up her child from her house (I have a baby, one stroller, not double, and no car) and then watch her baby for two hours, get 12 shekel. And this would include waking my son up from his name because she needed something last minute.
And she told me she wnated someone to watch her daughter for two hours friday morning. (For 12 shekel not being able to get ready for shabbos? not worth it!)
I told her "for six shekel an hour, lo shaveh li, its not worth it for me."
and she was a little disappointed, but that was that.
Its not like I got a few kids at home that I'm tied in the home. I'm pretty portable, put him in a stroller and I run my errands. Having another kid makes me not portable and is not worth my time for 6 shekel an hour.
