Does the bottom taste like a brownie? Meaning, can I cheat and just use a mix for the bottom?

Bottom was a lot like a brownie, but not the fudgy chewy kind. Still, the recipe would work just fine with that.

hey cookielady, I hope you see this post real quick!
I just made the first part of the recipie and im wondering if I did something wrong- it looked like a choco mousse consistency and when I spread it in the pan it made a really thin layer.it was kind of hard to spread to the ends of the pan, the parchment kept sliding and I ended up with a very thin layer- is this ok???? did I do something wrong????
