I wish you success in your future endeavors? we'll miss you now that you're graduating? I can't believe you're in pre 1 a already????? anyone?

we do that here too, I wrote a cute poem about how she has grown from a baby to a girl (I rhymed with curl) and of how much she learned, I added a few pictures of her baby and then a toddler then 5 yr old and wrote we love you love ...
if I can find it on my computer I can email you a picture of it.

You could spell out her name and use each letter as the first letter in an adjective to describe your daughter.
for example...

C-cute
H-helpful
A-adorable
Y-yummy
A-amazing
all describe our daughter. We love you and are so proud of you.

Something like that? Good luck!!

In England they get by without them - it's tough
In Israel also true
Here people found money wasn't wasted fast enough
So what were they to do?

Why wait until eighth or twelfth grade and children who can read
When money can be wasted
Without any pressing need?

I wanted to send my greeting to my daughter and her friends
And hope that when they learn their ABCs they'll try to stop the trend
Seems tuition isn't high enough for some of us to pay
That to use some extra dollars, we need to find a way.

In my boys' school, the yearbook is basically a staple-together booklet with free ads. Don't see what the big deal about that is...

Anyways, I wrote a line for each letter of my sons' names making sure to fit in a line about the great Morahs.

hey don't knock it till you see it, its not anything you pay for, its a photocopied book of pages about them, and parents can write a ad.
its cute and my kids love looking at their and their friends handwriting many years later.
same reason why you keep a baby book.

Just write how proud you are of him/her and how you can't wait to watch him/her continue to learn and grow throughout the rest of his/her school years.

I also don't understand the need for this. Especially if the child can't read yet.

there isn't a need for it. but I'm not going to let my daughter be the only one without one. she'd be devastated.

It's a cute kindergarten keepsake. My ds who is older likes to look back at it - there are pictures that the kids drew, questions with adorable responses. But, if it was leather-bound and we were required to put in $250 worth of ads like in HS, it would be ridiculous!
