Saying boruch hamavdil bein kodesh lechol.
Then turning off the gas on the stove, and the lights in the bathroom and putting on the light in the fridge again.
Then turning off the shabbos clock for the house and the shabbos elevator in the building (we're responsible for it) so that the old people who live on the upper floors coming home from shul can get upstairs without waiting for the elevator to make the entire round..
Then getting the stuff ready for havdolo when dh comes home
Then calling my mother to see she is ok.

After havdolo:
taking the tablecloth off and putting it into the wash.
Setting up a wash
putting new candles into the lachter to have them ready for next week.
The turning on IMAMOTHER!

Depends who was home for shabbos.
My teenage girls usually tidy up the dining room (clear table, leaves out, sweep, etc).
10-year old son gets havdala ready when he comes in from shul
My husband does dishes (unless I surprise him)
I shut off appliances, put away food from seuda shlishit, sometimes toss a load of laundry in.
I am usually nursing baby and tucking in 8-year old dd while men are at shul, so there isnt so much time to do other stuff.

mimi, whats a koomkoom????

I say and sing gut fun avraham, and all the other songs,
If I ate home, I clean up the kitchen, tidy up all over, turn on phones, call parents, then turn on the computer, and proceed to while away the hours....

That depends if it's summer or winter. In summer the kids are already asleep so I turn off all the appliances, get the house back to normal get havdalah ready and then lie down with a book until dh comes home. In winter the first thing I do is put a movie on for the kids and then as above, but the book doesn't come out until the kids are asleep.

Because my dh taught me that's what you should do. If you know you need to eat MM straight after Shabbos, you also know not to eat too much at SS. I used to say I could eat cake, but not bread - my dh said if you can eat cake, bread is not more filling - and he's right!
