my kids love 24 piece puzzles,and the cardboard boxes dissintegrate over time. I had these small plastic containers fromt he $$ store, but there is soooo much wasted space cause they are too big for it. today I walked past the ziplock dispoable tupperware, 5 for $2 and they are smaller narrowere boxes that a 24 peice fits right in up tot he top. and they are much cheaper than buying those big clunckers!
I cut out the picture and taped it to the side.

Cool! I'm not sure what containers you mean, though... sounds like they are square and small, the area of one puzzle piece?

Did you ever try a puzzle rack? They are pretty cheap at any toy store, or another option is to go to a wood store and make one - even cheaper! it looks like a filing system thin thin shelves and it works pretty well.

Not sure where you live, but if you ever buy potatoes or onions in those sacks, they may make a nice puzzle holder...
