Define "significant", which may or may not be the same as "memorable."
In reality, every day is significant in ways we cannot imagine till further down the line. Every step leads to another and another and culminates in those events we call "significant."

I think all "milestone" days would be significent
The day I was born
The day I started school
The day I graduated
The day I met my husband
The day I got married
The day my daughter was born...
(hey, and how can I forget these? The day I cut my first tooth, the day I learned how to say "mama dada", the day I took my first step, the day I wrote my name for the first time... )
