Same recipe---except I mix the first 3 things together and then add all others and mix...this mixture should be for 2 ready graham pie crust. Bake 350 F-45 minutes. When cool I pour cherry top filling over it. Enjoy

thanks for the tip! I never actually made it with a ready made pie crust so I wasn't sure how many are needed. I make a crumble dough, pack it at the bottom of the pan, and bake for about 20 minutes till its firm, then I pour the mixture in and bake the pie. ready made pie crusts are insanely expensive where I live. It tastes great like this too.

Sorry to bump an old thread but how much juice actually goes into the batter? I'd be starting with a larger can and it would be easier if I wouldn't have to do the math. Thanks!

Thanks! And thanks for the link. I opened a pareve cheesecake thread but it was a conventional Tofutti one (which I actually like but hey, I have some extra canned pineapple so why not).
Oops. Now that I opened your link I see I didn't read far enough.

I need to do this... PSA
This pineapple dessert DOES NOT taste like cheesecake. Do not expect cheesecake! But it's good for a pineapple pie.
If you want a pareve version of cheesecake, tofutti is the way to go. But I'd still rather have a chocolate cake.

Yes. It actually just came out of oven and going into freezer. But without cherry pie filling for topping. I'll add that when I want to serve it.
