please excuse my ignorance, I usually make cholent for shabbos lunch but lately iv stopped and we have been having cold cuts and kugle, this week we are having guests and I was wondering what else I am allowed to put on the hot place on shabbos morning, for lunch. can I make things like pastry roll with meat?

I sometimes like to make lunch totally cold- I make fish or liver then shnitzel, deli meat, potato salad, diff pasta salads and diff vegie salads with lots of dips. some kugel are good cold also like cranberry apple kugel.

Fish but we usually have fish at all 3 meals.
Deli roll in puff pastry.
Schnitzel, chicken
Spaghetti and meatballs
Salads: pasta salad, potato, corn, you name it
