Has anyone come across info regarding elongated eggs? I vaguely remember reading something somewhere (but I don't remember where) that they are suggested not to eat (kashrus wise), but I don't recall the whole story.
I had never seen one begore so I didn't think much of it till I found one this week.
ANyone know about elongated eggs?

I am grossed out by malformed eggs, I just flush them. (the chicken kinds, not the human ones)

I don't know whether you are talking about the inside or the shell. But if the shell is not the normal shape, chances are they are not kosher.

It says you're in NY, it's not really a problem here. You're buying chicken eggs in the supermarket. If however, you go to other countries, esp. in Asia, you'll find all sorts of eggs.
I don't have sources. Dh is a shochet and learned by the OU egg guy. R' Loike
Call him with your questions.
