I'm going to be teaching megillas esther VERY soon. I learned megillas esther with mrs. g. gansburg, in beis rivkah high school. she was a great teacher and I learned so much from her. I was sure that I had my notes and now I can't find them. I'm really annoyed. did anyone here go thru her class too and still have their notes?
or, has anyone else ever taught megillas esther and has ideas for me?
actually, I'll be teaching it to 8th grade.
I'd love to get ideas.

thank you so much for the idea. I use echinuch all the time but for some reason I didn't think of checking it out this time.
I actually did find some helpful information there.
the problem is that most teachers don't teach it the way I need to teach it now. I will be teaching it similar to chumash style learning, not story style.
anyone else, any ideas?
no beis rivkah graduates here who can help me out?

I wish I had my notes, but she taught me about 10 years ago. I know we had to use the Torah Temimah megillah & lots of the mefarshim came from there. It comes in English too. Boy, do I miss that class. When we hear megillah, every year I still rememeber so many things. It;'s about the only high school subject I remember.
