I just made potato kugels for a simcha on Shabbos.
They are hot now and can go in the fridge but don;t really want to freeze them
Tomorrow I have to take a 2.5 hour train ride plus travelling to and from station time- probably another 1.5hours
Will the kugels be ok and will they last until Shabbos morning or is it better to freeze them?
How does potato kugel go when it is frozen???
Thanks!

I would prbably freeze them if I were you
just thaw it out and heat up before shabbos
of course nothing is like fresh hot lugel out the oven but it still should b yummy

hm sounds yum - what day is it ... I guess you could freeze it or wrap it well and keep in the back of the fridge ...

dont freeze them. they get soggy as they defrost. the best way to deal with a frozen potato kugel is to put it straight back into the oven. I say put it in the fridge now and take it from there. its cold enough outside that they wont spoil over your long journey.
good luck.
