today show was making gingerbread houses and kathy lee touched her hair & her nose and then proceeded to glue the pieces of the house together  - I hope nobody eats it ...

She was probably touching her nose and hair to make sure it's all still there. She's done so much work to that face, she probably fears it'll start falling off in chunks.
