Wow, we really have similar taste in movies (except Bicentenial man, really?).

A walk to remember I have seen about twenty times. I cry every time, romantic but sad.

While you were sleeping I saw with dh and he found it very funny too.

Did you like the Princess Bride (even though it wasn't funny)? A number of ppl have mentioned it as one of their favorites, but the trailer makes it look silly.

I just remembered SUCH a good one!
Finding Neverland
I usually don't cry, but this one had me bawling.

And speaking of Kate Winslet, did anyone mention Titanic?

I just found this thread and thought I'd add to the great list:
50 First Dates - Even if you think Adam Sandler is immature, and Drew Barrymore is annoying, it's a great movie.

Pretty Woman
My Big Fat Greek Wedding
50 First Dates
The Holiday
Sleepless in Seattle
When Harry met Sally
What Women Want
Jane Eyre (BBC version)
A Walk to Remember (if you like crying through movies)
POTC (I liked it anyway and it had some romance throughout)
Ever After
While You were Sleeping
The Proposal
Mr. And Mrs. Smith
Legally Blonde
Sound of Music

you can watch most on youtube. search the movie title and the number "1" or "scene 1", "part 1", "1/".
Or you can watch for free (no download) usually bad quality on watch-movies-links.net

My fake fiance. It, oddly enough, was pretty pretty pretty kosher. I think even rated G, maybe one kiss the whole movie, etc... I loved it!

The trouble with most of the movies listed in most of the above postings is that they are either really dirty, or dumb, or loaded with badlanguage... Hardly the kind of thing I would want to be watching with my husband... It is inviting the garbage into your house... There are many stuff out there that are good and clean.

Some suggestions...

GONE WITH THE WIND!!!! And I am in my 20's....!
I can't believe TITANIC didn't show up until the third page of posts!
And the SOUND OF MUSIC! Those are both classics.
Jane Austin's stories made into movies are great because they are old and clean.

I am the OP. first of all, titanic is anything but clean. there is a very explicit s e x scene.

as the OP ill just say that for me the "garbage" as you put it does not matter. I know that sounds weird, but watching a movie with my husband is a way to relax and enjoy time together, and thats all.
