Does anybody know if I can be a SEIT teacher without having a license? I took all the tests for the spec ed. license I need two more graduate courses. I have a license in reading birth -2nd grade. I really want to do this coming Sept. and I will probably take two classes in the summer but won't have my license in time and I have to tell my present job in a couple of months that I'm not coming back.

I past every test I'm already licensed as a pre-k -6th grade teacher and as a reading teacher now I want to be licensed as a spec ed teacher but I still need two classes.

why don't you try calling Yeled V'Yalda or the Board of Ed.
You don't need to give your name. Just ask the question.

yup, that's the way to do it. I have to submit my fingerprints. and then apply for that license.
