Lately I have been seeing this recipe everywhere. Does anyone know what I am talking about? The only thing I remember (I asked the hostess how she made it) is that it has mayonnaise in it.

The one I have has eggs, mayo, onion soup mix, non-dairy creamer, etc. is that what you're talking about?

Yeah, that. (I use soy milk instead of non-dairy creamer)

1 Big Bag Frozen Broccoli
3 Tbsp. Margarine
1 Cup Non Dairy Creamer
3 Tbsp. Flour
1 Cup Mayo
3 Large Tbsp. (Heaping) Onion Soup Mix
6 eggs, beaten
Breadcrumbs to coat

Boil broccoli in a pot of water until tender, not too soft! Drain water and set aside. Combine margarine and milk in a pot until it boils. Add flour and mix till thickened. Take off flame and add mayo, onion soup mix, and eggs, mix together. Grease pan and line with breadcrumbs, pour broccoli in, then pour the egg mixture on top of that (it settles to the bottom so it's all over.) sprinkle breadcrumbs on top. (The 2 breadcrumb steps are optional I guess. Just gives it a bit of a crust.)

Bake uncovered for 45 minutes on 350.

Enjoy!

Hmmm...

Thank you, but I think it was something different. I think I would have noticed if she said soup mix or flour/bread crumbs because I have family members that are sensitive to wheat and MSG, and I remember thinking, "Cool! I can make this!"

Any other ideas? Do you think maybe I can skip?

I don't use breadcrumbs. And I just realized, I don't use soy milk either... the soy milk is used for my spinach-noodle kugel.

Can this be done without non-dairy creamer? I remember once doing a more simple recipe.
I remember:
Broccoli
Mayonnaise
Spices
Eggs
And bread crumbs to coat.

I do like that. It's my SIL recipe

brocolli
3 eggs
3 T. mayo (I use a bit less)
3 T onion soup mix (I def. use less. sometimes I saute onions)

Mix all together and bake. You can sub spinich (add a little flour for spinach), califlour, green beans, etc. Very yummy & easy.

Top w/ cornflake crumb if wanted.

Thank You RachelEve!! That's probably what I meant.
I'm doing a Broccoli, Cauliflower, Sweet Potato Kugel with this recipe. I hope it comes out good.
