Tummy virus....should I stop milk??

my ds is BH 51/2 months, I think he caught a tummy virus and since friday he has diariha- although this is much better the past few days, but now he vomited his bottle. My mom keep telling me to stop giving him the formula and give him only solids, cant get in touch with my dr. ! :/
should I stop giving him formula?

If he's sick, he needs fluids. If formula is the only liquid he normally gets, definitely keep giving it to him.

Maybe it was just spit up? Was it totally projectile?

yeah I mean im used to his spit up but that was a good few oz mixed in with sweet potatoes from hours before :/
I hate when he's sick:/ I'd rather be sick instead of him!!!
