My wonderful, happy, playful son has become a whining, cranky son since he restarted his sezuire meds two weeks ago... Any ideas please help!

Seizure meds completely mess with your brain. They can cause depression and other things. Sometimes it takes a few weeks to get adjusted and sometimes you need a new medication. Hope this resolves soon.

I would just call and tell them what is going on and see what they say. I think it's a good idea when starting new meds to be in very close contact with the neurologist. They will be your best guide.

Definitely call your neurologist. In our experience, they like to be informed of all effects and changes caused by the meds.
