Here is my favorite way of serving avocados. I slice them so you have the hole from the pit & either alternate them on a platter with sliced plum tomatoes (sliced lengthways) or arrange alternate stripes of each vegetable.
BE CAREFUL CUTTING THOSE PESKY AVOCADOS!!!
For the sauce over 3 toms & 3 avocados:
1/2 cup mayo
1/4 c canola oil
1/4 c sugar
1/4 c white vinegar
2 T Tamari sauce (don't substitute with soy sauce, doesn't work)
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 mashed avocado
1/2 red onion, diced small.
I usually double the recipe as I use more veggies, but I keep the oil as 1/4 cup & use low-fat mayo. Shake together, pour over arranged tomatoes & avocados. It really is fabulous and very attractive. Enjoy!!!

Ok, I just made this for Shabbos and it was yuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!! I just chopped everything up and served it as a salad, though, instead of arranging it like a platter. I also didn't have Tamari sauce so I did sub soy sauce for it instead, but it was still great!! Thanks for a delicious recipe!!!!
