I try to take my kids to the park often but because of my work schedule it ends up being around supper time. So I like to bring supper along this way they don't eat too late when we come home, the mess is in the park, and it makes the trip much more exciting.
Problem is I'm running out of ideas. Maccaronni, pizza, or chicken cutlets with cut up veggies or canned veggies works well.
but they eat pizza a lot for lunch. So any other ideas that are neat for toddler to eat outside, don't require a lot of prep, and don't attract a lot of flies (like fish - that supper was a BIG mistake).
I'd love to here what you take.

The standard british picnic fare--sandwiches, hard boiled eggs, pasta salad, cut fruits or jelly.
You can also take corn on the cob, hotdogs, frittatas, quiches.
