I'd like to download some songs from a website instead of paying CD shipping prices. I don't have an MP3 player. Can I save them to a CD? Would it play in any CD player??

You can save them, like any file, to a disk. You will need a CD player that does mp3 unless you download in the same format as regular audio disks. You will be able to listen from any computer.

Sometimes you can have the recording program ask you if you want to record an Audio CD to play on cd players... or simply write to disk. And CD player form the last 3-5 years will play MP3's on a disk.
