Spirit Airline getting a good deal

Does anyone know how to get those good deals on Spirit Airline that they always promise you? I know that you have to join the $9 club but if I do join does it mean that I will automatically get those good rates?

I don't do it, but I know of people who do and from what I understand, you have to always check it and grab.

you have to be an early bird to catch the worm. they don't always have the best prices & when they do there is a limited percentage of seats that they will allow to be sold for so cheap. another souring point, they now charge per piece of baggage & also to pre reserve seats. it can go both ways: I've flown two people for $40, but lately I've gotten better deals on northwest.

I have gotten those deals many times the only problems are 1 they dont have many direct flights from laquardia except to florida and not even then. and 2 u need to get to the sales 1rst thing. but my dh and I are going to florida for 2 dollars roundtrip plus tax cant beat that.

I think its still avail its from march 24-27 my mother and sister are always checking and so they just let me in on the deals!

I wish I could but my Dh did it- I am in the same boat as you. But he just clicked on the flights and put in the dates you want and choose the times that are the cheapest- we are flying back at 7 am b/c it was $18 as apposed to $60.00.

No we could have gotten the flights for $9 if we did but it's a $40 charge and comes out to be the same in the end and we decided against it.
