DH and I will iyh be going to Montreal for a week in November.
Can anyone tell me what one can do there? outdoors? indoors? Is it worth going to Niagara Falls?

Montreal to Niagara?
That's a 6-7 hour trip each way. Depending on how you speed and what traffic conditions are like...

We enjoyed Old Montreal very much. It's on the water, lots of street shows, small kiosk attractions, amazing architecure, bike rentals,boat rentals, segway rentals. Easiest to take the subway to get there
