What do you make for a quick easy dinner? No pasta (had that last night) and DH will not eat anything categorized as "breakfast foods" like eggs, quiche or french toast..He also does not like dairy. So sick of cooking and need to come up with a quick dinner. Please help...I have cans, basic veggies, flour, (most of the basics kicking around)

if you have leftover chicken or meat you can make stir fry. make some rice with it for a full plate.
meatballs are pretty quick. if you want to make it quicker, put the ingredients in a ziplock bag and seal it. then knead the contents through the sealed bag. less clean up.
how about stuffed baked potatoes? quick if you have a microwave.
deli sandwiches and salad are nice and easy.

slice the veggies, and toss with seasoning, then flour. Stir fry (add a pinch of baking soda to the pan), it will become crispy. Remove from pan, add your meat/chicken/ whatever to the pan and stir fry until done, about 15-20 minutes. Add the veggies back in and add a bit of soy sauce, garlic, and about 2 spoons of water mixed with a teaspoon of corn starch. Cook for 30 minutes covered on low. Serve over rice immediately.

What about sandwiches; could be breaded chicken cutlets or fish sticks (both sold in the freezer section).
What about hotdogs, nuggets, or a stir fry - lots of chinese recipes take less than 30 minutes to make. Check out mine on this site under my name.

Soup (make it filling and protein-rich with beans), chilli
Stirfry with tofu
Tuna salad in a pita

anything that you can throw in the oven and cook quickly - salmon or other fish, chicken fillets, steak, hot dogs.
tuna patties are fairly quick and pretty good.
