I have a few spare hours during the day, want to volunteer to pple.
Where do I start??
For instance, to Bikur cholim, or chai lifeline, I can't think of any orginizations right now...
Mayb you can help me think what my options are......and who I can contact
I really appreciate it!

I know someone who volunteered for the Neshei Kimpaturin supper program. Let me know if you'd like me to look up the number for you.

Sorry, my mind is blank right now as to which other organizations you can call. I too can only think of Bikur Cholim and Chai Lifeline.

what about a nursing home/assisted living facility? There are so many residents that rarely have visitors. I know that the Jewish Home here has volunteers on a regular basis.

You can try Hilf. They need volunteers to cook meals, take kids to therapy, and do hospital visits.
