BIL is still in intensive care. They were supposed to remove the life support machine last night. He did wake up and recognize the family. I haven't heard yet this morning.

Depending on his age and state of health it should take a few days until he is sitting up and even moving around a bit but by Pesach he should be a mensch be'ezras hashem.

He sat up today in a chair. On Thursday he's scheduled to go to rehab. B"H the operation was a success and he has a brand new valve in his heart. The old one was found to be 63% clogged.
