One of my coworkers has a really hard time; she's not that good at her job and her job isn't a great one, anyway.
The problem is, she's always kvetching about people in the office. I keep telling her it's wrong; that it's loshon horah (she's chassidische) but it doesn't seem to matter.
I feel bad for her..if I could help her, fine, but stam to kvetch.....

Well you can't improve her so if its theraputic and lessens her stress I think its okay to listen to it as long as you don't accept it, if it's real annoying, well then...teach her how to talk aloud to herself as many imamother posters do

redsea great advice 8)
I would yea yea her or turn on some music or change the subject even play a game but don't make u'rself nuts about it.
Though I had someone I knew like that and after awhile kvetchin with nothing positive to say did get on my nerves 
I used to keep in touch only when I was calm and only my conveniant time b/c otherwise she would've shlepped me down w/h her

It's very hard. She needs to vent, certainly, but not at the expense of others!
Everyone needs a shoulder, I realize that.
