It's to cover a scarfy thing on my dresser, where I do my makeup. I was just going to use the old Shabbos tablecloth protector, but it was dirty I threw it out. I need something rather narrow anyway ... any ideas (I don't like adisposable tablecloth).
Thanks.

I don't want a hunk of glass that I'll have to clean. A runner is fine.

You can buy the same kind of heavy-duty plastic by the yard in a good hardware store, Just buy the length you need. If the area you need to protect is 52 inches long or less, you may be able to buy just a half yard or so of 52-inch-wide plastic.

They aren't clear.
I ended up getting a cheap tablecloth, which I will cut in half and have one in reserve.

plexiglass is NOT glass but plastic that you can have cut - like glass - to any size you want at a hardware store - and it would be more appealing than a plastic table cloth ...
