What is your favorite recipe, speciality or family favorite?

my favorite desert:
fruit chantilly
bring a can of pitted cherries, bag of frozen strawberries, can of crushed pineapple, can of water (just fill up one of the cans) to a boil. Then add 2 packages of jello (I like to do one strawberry and one cherry but the recipe calls for 2 of the same kind) and bring to a boil again.
Take pot off of fire, add a cup of orange juice, a cup of apple juice and a can of manderines. Let cool and refrigerate.
It's quite easy to make and always a big hit with guests.
