I usually make small-ish challah rolls filled with egg/cheese filling, not sure what's called properly/where it came from but we just call it cheese bun.

I also make different kinds of vegetable pies (more like fritata) with zucchini, grated carrots or chopped spinach. SIL makes a nice fish pie with filo dough.

Personally I like icecream much much better than sachlab or those shortbread cookies with walnut halves...

I couldn't stop eating those walnut cookies at a vort once but it might just be because I almost never get to eat walnuts (DH is allergic!)
