Does anyone know of a tablet gemach and/or mechitzah gemach open now?
I called 10 places and they are either closed down for good or they're closed for the summer.

tablets are mini-tableclothes...
A lot of times by a simcha you'll have a tablecloth of one color and then a 'tablet' that is a print or shear smaller piece of material that is spread out over the tablecloth.

me, too. why not? free notebooks given away to needy children. a gemach is any org that does gmilut chassadim, not necessarily one that rents or lends items.

It may sound funny to some, but if the op really needs to get those tablets, she'll have to ask for them so that those that have them understand what she's talking about! Btw, I thought that runners were just long decorative strips that "run" down a table? Tablets come in all sizes and shapes and are used for all kinds of table and prop covering/decorating.
