My cleaning lady has been with me for awhile. She does not speak or understand english. There is alot that I don't like about her cleaning methods but since we can't communicate I can't fix it. The biggest problem is that I saw her eating a bologne sandwhich of her own and drinking out of my milcheg cups. Since I am not home to keep an eye on her I really would just like to get rid of her. Any suggestions. I don't know what language she speaks.

I always tell them that I don't have enough money to pay them but if my husband's job turns around I will rehire them.

I second amother. Go to freetranslation.com, type in English & they'll translate it into the language you want. I presume she can read!

BIG PROBLEM!
I would just tell her that I will call her next time that I need her.

I have a similar problem with my cleaner. She is ALWAYS on the phone (her cell), she doesn't clean properly and ignores my requests. I am PLATZING!
In the worst times she lets me down and just doesn't turn up with any ridiculous reason you can make up.
To my mazel she did send me once a friend who is much much better than her. I started hiring her friend. Since she found out she doesn't let her friend come to me either. They work like a mafia. I told her that she let me down a few times and her fiend is more reliable but they won't hear of it.
I am desperate to find a third!

You have no idea what language she speaks?
Do you know where she is from?

no need to lie - just say I won't be needing you anymore ...

as for the food - you should provide paper plates and cups and perhaps leave the food you don't mind if she eats designated before you leave and show it to her ... it's usually up to you to show her what you need done and how because everybody likes things differently ...

How did you hire her in the first place? Whoever told her you need her, can now tell her you no longer need her. It's as simple as that!

google online translation, there are many websites that provide free online translation. you can either tell her with online translation or ask to talk to someone she knows who speaks her language.

I used online translation to tell my cleaning lady what I wanted to her to do every week. worked nicely.
