I'm considering placing an ad in the Mishpacha Back To School Issue, but I wanted to know if people pick it up after shabbos to read the advertisements?

personally, I just read it on shabbos and then forget about it, not like a Yated or Hamodia that I would go back and clip something else.

I read Mishpacha all through the week, starting on Shabbos. Yes, I do look at the ads.

I usually go through the mishpacha ads first thing actually - when I get the magazine to my door, its in the morning,I dont have time to read all the articles, but I like to flip the pages, and read the ads with my morning coffee - its my thurs morning treat!

This is completely OT but I just learned that it's a halachic problem to read ads on shabbos! I never knew that before...

I read the ads of these types of papers (although I don't get the Mishpacha) because I live OOT and it is not for the most part nogea to me - most are NY/ Lakewood. I therefore learned this was OK.

I usually flip through the magazine quickly and read all the ads so I shouldn't be tempted to read them on Shabbos. The ones that interest me, I read after Shabbos again.
