confection's sugar - enough to coat cookies

Preheat oven to 350.

Sometimes I find that the dough is too sticky at first to roll into balls - throwing it in the refrigerator for a little while helps solve that problem.

Fpr some reason this recipes doesn't double well. Also it's important to sift or at least make sure the confectioners sugar is not lumpy.

I found them a mess to make and not so tasty that's it's worth making again. Am I the only one - everyone else liked them?

Before I saw that it was from a certain cookbook, I thought she wanted the refrigerator cookies that you can make as black and white stripes or a spiral. Very Happy
