I have these pots & they are the most amazing pots. They don't burn & wash well.

My mother has them for years too & would only buy them.

They are pricey- I have them for fleishigs & a cheaper set for milchig (circulon)

I don't remember seeing a set. We picked out the sizes we wanted & bought those pots.

The Tramontina are easy to clean.

I also have something called scrub n shine which get the pots to look brand new again.

The frying pans & the sauce pan I bought with the long handles.

The rest of the pots I bought the ones like this because it is easier to hold:

Willow, what's your budget ? which pots do you need urgently? after being married for 20 plus years, mine aren't in great shape either but I didn't see myself buying a new set of what I had. I decided what I needed and bought one by one, usually with chanukah gelt.

anticipate your needs and shop accordingly. are you getting milchigs too ?

Tfal is great. All clad is also great. But all clad costs !!!!
Worth every cent! They will last forever, can be shined easily after use, even if the food is burned on. You can kasher them with a blow torch (yup, we had to do that). If you are in or around Pittsburgh, Pa, they have a "seconds" sale twice a year IIRC. If not, (and if things haven't changed too much in the U.S.), they go on sale + a coupon + open a store credit card at a place like Bloomindales so you can save.
But I think Willow is in Israel... not too much choice here for the average pocket.

I am partial to All Clad. I like stainless with a nice weight to it. Definitely I would not use anything non-stick. Those coatings are unsafe.

I use Brillo steel wool and dish soap. Washes like a breeze.
