I heard that the Kosher Palette II came out and I'm wondering if anyone has it yet. If they do - is it good? Let me know whats in there. I absolutely love the first one. (I'm one of those weird people that likes to read cookbooks through and through - like a regular book).

Me too!!! When I get a new cookbook, I curl up in bed reading it like a good book! My DH gets a good laugh out of it.

About the new Kosher Palette, I have it and so far it looks nice. I only made 2 or 3 things out of it, but they were all good! If you get it, you can pm and I'll tell you what I made!

It's great! I already made a few things from there. I also read cookbooks cover to cover as soon as I get them. Very Happy

They are less patchke than kosher by design and KBD entertains....
The recipes are devided into catagories like for example in the soup section there will be a list "Family friendly" "Easy" "Sophisticated" "Prep time" etc...

So far the stuff that I have made from it has been delish!

girlsmom, what did you make from it?

chicken spinach rolls, layered gefilte fish, deli meat salad, avacado and heart of palm salad, and some other things that I can't remember offhand.

I found it to be much easier than the Kosher by Design series which I use alot. Here I found recipes that come out good, look nice, and are easy to prepare

No, it's from Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy/Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School, edited by Sandra Blank.
