So Crayon what does your label say Chassidish, or Lubavitch?

I am a Lubavitcher chasid. We have had this discussion elsewhere, the Lubavitchers are chassidim, just like other groups of chassidim (Breslov, Satmar, Ger, etc.)

you know, there used to be chassidim who would never refer to themselves as such because they considered this status of being a "chossid" a very high level and would rather say that they are working on eventually trying to reach this lofty goal.

But I personally agree with the last amother. I'm fuzzy and blue too. Sometimes, even, I'm purple with green spots all over, if you make believe me. Wink

I would consider myself a combination of MO - young israel and MO rav Hirsch. I live in israel and so I would consider myself dati leumi or even torani leumi!

I would add myself to that but don't tell my boss, or I loose my job at yekke-job....
Seriously I voted for MO Rav Hirsch... what else could there be?

I am Lubavitch and if I had a choice I would choose it because I find it so beautiful and practical. the fact that the Rebbe brings everything in TOrah and brings examples how we can practically apply them to our lives TODAY by living with the times meaning with the Torah portion of that week... and by learning through chassidus what happens to our neshama every single time we do a mitzvah... and by learning what kikorov eilecha really means through chassidus that we can really be close to hashem and feel his presence.... with specific ways we can do this... how love of your fellow Jew means Loving who HE IS, a NESHAMA.... and just all the beautiful wonderful things chaddus teaches in a POSiTIVE way that makes u want to do more and more with SIMCHA.
