Usually, I cook a different type of food and I have never made kugel until this Purim. In order to surprise a friend, a decided to make this kugel for MM. It was very tasty, so I decided to make it for our Purim party. Instead of cinnamon, I used pure vanilla extract and grated lemon rind, and 8 apples instead of 6. For MM, I used long, narrow loaf pan, lined with baking paper.
It is so goooood! I will definitely make it again! The recipe is from Chabbad:
