My family diffidently qualifies but I have no clue as to how to go about getting it. I just got food stamps and it took forever because I was running to a million different government offices and collecting all the proper documentation. If anyone did it, got the voucher (I'm really only interested in those ), can you please give me a step-by-step direction on how to do it?

In Brooklyn. I was told today by 311 that the program is on a complete freeze and they're not excepting any more applications. I'm now looking into other options, if anyone has any suggestions for me I would much appreciate it since it's looking like my family will be homeless soon.
