I'd go for wine. not everyone "believes" in soda, but everyone makes kiddush.

We are not big wine drinkers and only like a few kinds so I would rather get something for desert or flowers.

in the end it was crowded and warm in her basement...with a lot of kids!
she asked for wine, I don't know why, sprite would have been more appropo!
