does anyone use one of these or your husbands maybe? I am trying to look into how practical they are and the pros and cons of them.
this would make my husbands life so much easier (to ride to the train - 10 minutes - as opposed to his bike which will take him about 40 minutes)

anyone?

My brother has a scooter. Uses it a lot instead of the car on nice days. Very practical and I think they're really cute:)

My dad bought one for himself, the kind with a seat to sit on. He really likes it...but my mom refuses to let him use it, she says it makes him look like a handicapped person.

My FIL uses an electric scooter because of mobility issue. Just be warned it's very heavy and takes up a LOT of space. Is he planning to park it at the station?

If you're thinking of electric bicycle, we know someone who uses it, and he seems to be quite happy. I think he uses short distance between home and the station or to run grocery erands. It looks like a regular bike, nothing bulky.

ok, I just checked out what an electric bike is and I have a question, is it just a bike but with an engine that makes it go a bit faster or easier to ride?

yes, it looks like a regular bicycle but you can use the electric motor to go uphill/to go faster. Some models you don't have to pedal.
