I can't find pictures of modest gowns on line to show the seamstress as examples.

My brother in law is getting married and I found someone who isn't going to charge me much more than renting cost me last wedding, but I need to figure out styles. My kids aren't easy to fit. I have one very skinny one, followed by a full one, then a skinny one. I need to find styles that flatter all if that is possible.

Thanks

So you're only looking for kids' styles or you, too? This link will give you some ideas from a frum bridal store in NJ that does evening wear, no reason not to use the ideas for kids, too.

This is what we found in terms of rentals last year: http://picasaweb.google.com/Li.....57586

The size difference is a bit more pronounced this year.

Thank you both!

Dilego, I am definitely willing to do different styles for each girl, but coordinating would be good.

MamaBear thanks for the link! I am looking now.

I agree w/ Mama Bear--go with Tova (Couture de Bride) in Teaneck. She is FABULOUS and they have all styles. She'll make anything you want. I've been really happy with her!! You'll need to make an appointment, but they'll set aside tons of time for the appointment.

It may be hard for her to get to Teaneck from E"Y.

I think she's probably quite expensive too. I thought the link would be helpful for ideas, that's all.

Thank you all!

I wish the seamstress would sew what we need without asking me. Smile

I also found these pictures:

- though I don't like the asymmetry.

but I like the top of the first one much better.

The pics are beautiful, the ppl ie u and your family are even nicer.lots of nachas
I provably would try not to ruffle too much for a child that is on the heavier side, but then again why dont u go with the two pictures and tell her this from that and that from the other one?

For the heavier one, I think a sash or something in the middle to break up her body and tied on the side would be good.
