Stores sell two types of sunscreen for babies- lotion or a spray.
1) A spray seems to be the easier version of the two.... but wondering which works better, and...
2) if there are any brands you've found to work better than others.

I find spray works better on my kids. try to get waterproof better than water resistant. also get them a high spf +25 if you can get spf 60 it is excellent.

This year I bought the continuous spray and I really like it - especially the clear one. (I think it is coppertone) It is much better than the regular spray.
With any spray, don't spray it directly on to the face - put it on your hands and apply.

at first I bought the lotion, but its so messy, and would spill everywhere, and I always had extra left in my palm that would be wasted. and I ended up losing the bottle. then I bought the spray and this is my third summer using it, works great I like it b/c it sprays exactly enough lotion for one arm. and I never waste any.
(and I keep it in my bathroom cabinet so I dont lose it  )

be careful not to get it in their eyes or it really stings and then they won't let you put it on again

I remember years ago seing a sunscreen spray that was clear and very thin (like water), you just shpritz and thats it. Now I am seeing this thick gooky spray that you still have to shmear after you spray - which ones are you people using?

mumsy, get the ones called continous spray - coppertone makes a clear one.
